If you would like to pay by paper check…

We will accept a check under the following terms and conditions:

Customer agrees to provide Walsh’s Oil Company with a MasterCard or Visa Credit Card We will process your credit card for the first delivery at our cash price

The name on the Credit Card must be the same name and address on the check You, the cardholder, agree to allow Walsh's Oil LLC to keep your Credit Card information on file

At the time of delivery the driver will need to see the Credit Card and your driver’s license

Thereafter, we will accept your check for payment at the Cash Discounted Price for Heating Oil

It is further agreed by the customer that in consideration for Walsh’s Oil Company accepting a check from the customer, if the check is returned from the financial institution or bank on which the check is drawn for any reason, Walsh’s Oil Company will process the Credit Card on file for the returned check plus bank fees and a processing fee of Thirty-Five ($35.00) dollars

Should the Credit Card be Declined...Walsh’s Oil Company will file a civil or criminal complaint in the District Court

Credit or Debit Cards are processed at fifteen (.15) cents more per gallon than our cash price

Massachusetts General Law Chapter 140D, Section 28A states in part:

Section 28A.(b) With respect to any sales transaction, any discount from the regular price offered by the seller for the purpose of inducing payment by cash, check or other means not involving the use of an open-end-credit plan or a credit card shall not constitute a finance charge under section four if such discount is offered to all prospective buyers and its availability is disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
